Dr. Patrick Lupiya is a Research Fellow at the Indaba Agricultural Policy Research Institute (IAPRI), specializing in climate change, agricultural markets, rural development, and political economy. With extensive experience in policy analysis, project management, impact evaluation, and econometric modeling, he brings a strong analytical perspective to his work. Dr. Lupiya holds a PhD in Agricultural Economics and an MSc in Agricultural and Applied Economics, both from Egerton University, Kenya, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Zambia. His current research focuses on reforming Zambia’s agricultural policies to drive economic transformation by enhancing private sector investment.
