Miyanda Malambo

Ms Miyanda Malambo is a Social Scientist with extensive training and experience in rural research for development in a highly globalized era. She is well versed in research and project planning and management with over seven years of hands-on experience in social and rural development research, management, implementation, and evaluation. She also has In-depth knowledge of performing a key role in supervising initiative directives with proven track-record of leading data collection activities including document review, data analysis, and report writing. She is adept at performing research using quantitative and qualitative methods, data quality control and has also led qualitative data collection, analysis and report writing.

She has also utilized Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) during qualitative data collection incorporating methods such as matrix ranking and proportional piling. She currently coordinates business development activities at the Indaba Agricultural Policy Research (IAPRI) to support institutional fund sourcing through responding to requests for proposal and grant opportunities
