IAPRI is currently conducting meeting in parts of Southern, Eastern, Copperbelt and Western province to discuss Digital Climate Adaptation and Advisory Services (DCAS) in relation to the irrigation sector, crop value chain development and feeder road development, and scaling up extension services under Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA).
This survey is aimed at gathering information to have an insight of the challenges and opportunities related to job creation in the agriculture sector and also to note the channels in which information of agriculture is being disseminated to farmers, tools, the type of information disseminated and its effectiveness and efficiency to farmers across the country.
DCAS being digital tools, channels or digitally enabled activities that integrate climate information into agricultural decision-making, helping users adapt to climate variability and change can help agricultural producers and other value chain actors build resilience to the climate impacts that threaten present and future agri-food systems.
