Mr. Joseph Mbinji

Mr. Joseph Mbinji is the Executive Director of the Agricultural Consultative Forum since 1st July 2011. He holds a BSc in Natural Resources from UNZA and MSc in International Development and Management from Lund University in Sweden. He has more than 10 years work experience in senior managerial and governance positions in national and international NGO and multi-stakeholder platforms involved in policy advocacy in land and natural resources, agriculture and food security issues. This includes the Zambia Land Alliance where he served as Programmes Manager and the International Land Coalition hosted by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) where he served on the Governing Council. He also served for more than four years on the Executive Board of the Regional Women’s Platform on Land and Water Rights in Southern African (WLWRSA) based in Harare, Zimbabwe. Mr. Mbinji is also a former Commonwealth Professional Fellow and Researcher with Harvest Help UK (now Self Help Africa) and International Water Management Institute (IWMI) in Ghana, respectively.
